# Can I add partners or managers with SSN after starting my business?

If you would like to add a partner or manager with an **SSN** or **ITIN** to help expedite your EIN application, please first confirm that **we have not yet submitted the application to the IRS**. If it is still pending, contact us immediately so we can make the necessary adjustments.

If your business formation has already been completed and you wish to add a member with an **SSN**, this can be done without issue. However, you will need to file an amendment to update your formation documents.
