I Need to Provide a “Proof of Address” or “Utility Bill” — What Are These Documents?

In many marketplaces or business-related situations, you may be asked to provide documents such as a Proof of Address or a Utility Bill for security and verification purposes.

1. Proof of Business Association

For this requirement, you can use your EIN Letter as evidence of your business association.

2. Proof of Address

Since our virtual address is a mailbox service, it does not include utilities such as phone, electricity, gas, or water accounts under the company’s name in the United States. Therefore, a traditional utility bill in the company’s name is not available.

However, some clients choose to hire a phone line or service for their operations. In certain cases, this can be accepted as proof of address. This may be a useful alternative for you.
